Extension license for enabling and using the logical room grouping system feature. This can be used to extend the number of beds per room, by configuring several physical rooms to be combined and work as one single logical room, being useful when there's a need to build larger rooms with more than 6 beds (e.g. dialysis, ambulant areas, ...) Up to 4 installed rooms can be logically combined per logical group, enabling one logical room-group with up to 24 beds. For aligned and consistent caregivers' workflow, optical calls indication, presence/call cancellation and other standard features are working like for a big physical room, and those are associated to the room controller selected as grouping-master at configuration stage. The feature is assigned to the selected room controllers during the configuration of the care communication system. Use in conjunction with the System Release version V12.14 or higher and as of firmware 12.14 of the central control units. Integrates a backward compatibility mode which allows former room controllers (EM140, EM230, EM340, ZT99, ...) can be used for grouping as well. The license is activated/managed by the system workstation/server.
