The modular fuse holder Modulostar offers optimal mechanical and thermal resistance and is used to protect drives, motors and transformers in low-voltage distributions and controls. It can only be switched in the de-energized state and is finger-safe according to IEC and corresponds to degree of protection IP20, even when the fuse is being changed. Modulostar fuse holders are available in 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-pole versions. Mersen offers variants with or without optical fuse monitoring in UL and IEC versions. Single-pole units can be combined to multipole units with a mounting set. In sizes 14 or 22, microswitches can optionally be used for remote display. These are supplied with the fuse holder or can be retrofitted as accessories.
