Mersen's HP6M photovoltaic (PV) fuse series was specially developed for the protection of PV string cabling for 600VDC photovoltaic systems for private and commercial rooftop systems. The HP6M with a nominal voltage of 600 VDC was developed for a low minimum breaking capacity of 1.35 times the nominal fuse current value and enables safe circuit interruption under typical low fault current conditions that are generated by PV generators.
