The Mersen wiring rail in fork design is suitable for wiring modular installation devices in flat terminals, with double-function terminals or one-screw terminals. In the fork version as well as the bar version, however, devices with dual-function terminal offer the option of busbar mounting in the upper area of the terminal with simultaneous feed in the lower area. The use of end caps on multi-pole wiring rails ensures optimum contact protection and prevents flashovers at the rail ends. When wiring devices with flat terminals or single-screw terminals, additional feed terminals are required.
