Function MQTT is a powerful IoT protocol that has become standard in many industrial automation applications. The PFC200 Controller (Generation 2) supports MQTT as well as the Sparkplug specification. Sparkplug defines the topic and payload structure, enabling the controller to exchange data directly with Sparkplug-compatible systems (e.g., SCADA). A license is required to activate this functionality on the controller. Configuration is performed via the controller's Web-Based Management. Variables to be transmitted or received are defined using the CODESYS engineering software and its included library.
