Distribution terminal block, 284 Series, CAGE CLAMP® This distribution terminal block (item number 284-621) simplifies electrical installations. Conductors should only be connected to this distribution terminal block if their strip length is between 12 and 14 mm . Distribution terminal blocks allow you to distribute potentials with just one extremely compact terminal block. Their design also means you can connect larger conductor cross-sections on one side and several smaller conductor cross-sections on the other. Aside from potential distribution, these terminal blocks can also be used for potential collection. This product features conductor terminals and utilizes CAGE CLAMP® as well as a screw connection. Our CAGE CLAMP® connection provides a safe and maintenance-free way to connect all types of conductors. You do not need to prepare the conductor in any way, such as crimping ferrules. Products with screw-clamp connections are easy to reuse on-site, for example replace wires and devices using standard hand tools. Depending on the type of conductor, this distribution terminal block is ideal for conductor cross sections ranging from 0.2 mm² to 10 mm² on one side and for conductor cross sections from 0.5 mm² to 35 mm² on the other side. This through rail-mount terminal block is operated with an operating tool.
