Short description: CANopen is an industrial fieldbus protocol based on the Controller Area Network (CAN). CANopen connects WAGO's 767 Series System as a slave to the master. Data is transmitted via PDOs and SDOs. When initializing, the coupler determines the station's module structure and creates a process image of all inputs and outputs. The process image is divided into two data zones containing the data received and the data to be sent. Process data is available to the bus participants via the fieldbus coupler's object directory.
