Cable assembly WINSTA ® RD A coding The WINSTA ® RD cable assembly with protection against mismating is the pluggable solution for your application in control cabinets, for lighting connections or on PCBs. WAGO pluggable installation connectors are used when requirements repeat or are distributed on a specified grid, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. For greater security in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is provided with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). That results in the fact that users' fingers will never come into contact with energised contact elements. The WINSTA ® RD features a round design that is ideal for use in conduits with an inner diameter of 20 mm, for example in construction of prefabricated houses. Of course, the safety of buildings must always be ensured, even after the electrical installation has been performed. The required safety requirements in connection with EU CPR are fully satisfied by this product through fire class E.
