The 852-1605/000-001 Switch is an industrial managed Ethernet switch equipped with 8 RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000BASE-T/TX) and 4 Gigabit SFP ports (1000BASE-X/LX/SX/ZX) – with optional modules available. It features a rugged housing with a DIN-rail adapter, redundant power supply and function monitoring with alarm relays. The PROFINET certificate (conformity class B) ensures seamless integration into PROFINET automation systems via the device description file (GSD). The device also supports PROFINET Netload Class II. Additionally, the switch supports flexible multi-port mirroring configurations through the device description file or Web-Based Management. Function blocks for cyclic PROFINET switch diagnostics can be implemented efficiently within the TIA Portal, and an application note detailing this process is available.
