This device is an industrial media converter featuring one Gigabit Ethernet port and one SFP port (100BASE/1000BASE), enabling decentralized Ethernet devices to be connected to a network via fiber-optic cable. The user can freely select the required SFP module and communicate over a distance of up to 80 km. (SFP modules are available separately.) Its compact design with a DIN-rail adapter simplifies installation in control cabinets or enclosures and ensures high resistance to temperature, vibration, and shock. The unit enables plug-and-play operation with connected ETHERNET devices that use the same transmission speed.
