This device is an industrial media converter featuring one Gigabit Ethernet port and one SFP port (100BASE/1000BASE), enabling decentralized Ethernet devices to be connected to a network via fiber-optic cable. The user can freely select the required SFP module, allowing communication over distances of up to 80 km. The ETHERNET port (IEEE 802.3at) can be used simultaneously to power PoE end devices (powered devices). (SFP modules are available separately.) Its compact design with a DIN-rail adapter simplifies installation in control cabinets or enclosures and ensures high resistance to temperature, vibration, and shock. The unit enables plug-and-play operation with connected ETHERNET devices that use the same transmission speed.
